Main Aim and Object of the Society:
The San Thome Vincentian Society is established primarily for the welfare of the Christian minority community and the same shall be extended to others irrespective of religion, race, cast, community or social status.
To offer the facilities of training to such persons belonging to Institutions, Dioceses or Bodies which have similar aims and objects.
To establish, construct, maintain, endow, develop, modify and alter, manage, administer, conduct and carry on any school or institution, vocational institutions, literary programme centers, dispensaries, hospitals, gymnasiums, credit unions, orphanages, homes for the destitute, houses for the poor, administration centers, community halls, agricultural farms, etc.
To administer and run institutions which offer appropriate training and education to all who desire, of their own free choice, to dedicate themselves to the service of God, country and fellow beings.
And generally, to do all such acts, deeds and things that may be deemed necessary, conductive or incidental to the attainment of the above objects which are not contrary to the statutes and practical norms of the Vincentian congregation with St. Vincent de Paul as its Patron and having its Generalate (Head Office) at Edappally in Kerala state and the Canon Law of the Catholic Church.
